LeadingAge NY Announces Winners of #LoveThisCareerLTC Social Media Contest!

Over the summer and autumn months, LeadingAge NY held our first social media contest aimed at inspiring the general public to pursue careers in long-term care (LTC) and aging services. We encouraged our members to promote the contest widely among their staff, empowering them to share their passion for their work by creating their own social media content aimed at highlighting the rewarding and fulfilling aspects of LTC careers and encouraging other caregiving-natured individuals to join them.

The #LoveThisCareerLTC Social Media Contest was a huge success, receiving video submissions from staff across various departments and service lines. Over the last few weeks, a panel of four judges reviewed all of the submissions and selected winners for each of the contest categories. With so many inspiring videos submitted, it was a challenge to select just five contest winners. However, below are a few of the entries that really stood out and captured the goals, spirit, and guidelines of the contest.

Please join us in congratulating and celebrating the winners of the 2022 #LoveThisCareerLTC Social Media Contest! You can join us in celebrating these video entries by liking and sharing them to your professional and personal social media accounts with the hashtag #LoveThisCareerLTC.
