Governor Hochul Convenes Extraordinary Session to Address Gun Safety Newly passed firearms legislation makes changes to laws pertaining to the “concealed carry” of firearms and identifies sensitive locations where it is prohibited to carry a concealed weapon, including health care facilities such as nursing homes and ACFs. The implications of these changes in state law and their impact on other member types will require further analysis, which LeadingAge NY will provide over the coming weeks.
