Governor Acts on Mandatory Nurse Overtime Bills On Dec. 30th, Governor Hochul acted upon three bills that would further restrict and penalize providers for the use of mandatory nurse overtime. Ultimately, two of the bills were vetoed and one bill was signed based on an agreement with the Legislature to amend the bill.
