New Measles Resources from CDC
(June 17, 2025) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has launched a helpful new tool for health care providers: an adult measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccination decision tree. This easy-to-use guide is designed to help determine whether non-pregnant adults aged 19 and older need the MMR vaccine, based on the latest recommendations from the CDC and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
In light of recent measles outbreaks, staying up to date is more important than ever. The CDC also offers additional resources to support preparedness and response:
- Be Ready for Measles Toolkit – A practical collection of communication materials and planning guides for providers and organizations.
- Measles Cases and Outbreaks Tracker – Updated every Friday with the latest national data to keep you informed.
You can also visit the LeadingAge NY Infectious Disease Resources page to explore more tools and guidance for providers.
