New York Updates Travel-Related Quarantine Requirements Fully vaccinated and recently recovered HCP are not required to quarantine or test upon return to New York from interstate or international travel. Unvaccinated HCP and those who have not recovered from COVID-19 in the past three months who work in nursing homes, EALRs, and ALPs must quarantine for 14 days upon return to New York from domestic or international travel. All other unvaccinated HCP and those who have not recently recovered must quarantine only after international travel for seven days if they are tested on day three to five or for 10 days if not tested.
