DOH has announced that they will be releasing final July 2012 rates without the current CMI constraint resuting in a net payment to providers of $70 million.

Effective Aug. 1, 2013, the benefit package for mainstream Medicaid managed care will include ADHC and AIDS ADHC.

DOH intends to recoup all outstanding Medicaid liabilities from providers by March 2015.  Homes that make full payment by certain dates can avoid all or partial accrued interest payments.

LeadingAge NY's recent audio conference provided members with the latest information about the implementation of the UAS-NY and an opportunity to listen to personal experiences and advice shared by a panel of providers who are currently going through the transition. 

The first meeting was held to discuss the rationale behind forming the work group, its charge and allowing the associations to present their concerns.

The ruling implements the Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly Act of 2010.
