NYS released its highly anticipated MPA final report, a comprehensive document intended to lay the groundwork for addressing the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Meetings will be an opportunity to network and discuss current trends and best practices.

Issues discussed include extreme heat guidance, LHCSA HERDS reporting, CMP funding, and more. 

Together with the other assisted living associations, we urged DOH to take a more targeted and streamlined approach. 

DOH includes new quality measures in addition to what workgroup agreed upon.

Unspent funds will be required to be returned to the State.

Providers are also encouraged to share training opportunities with staff. Those interested in nursing program must enroll by fall 2025.
