Safe Patient Handling Workgroup Report Posted on DOH Site

New York State's Safe Patient Handling Law (SPH), with its phased implementation, involved a workgroup to make recommendations to assist facilities with establishing committees and programs. Health care facilities are required to establish SPH committees by January 1, 2016, and SHP programs by January 1, 2017.
