The new law will shift the CCRC Council to an advisory role and allow DOH to update the priority reservation fee limit.

Bills signed include legislation to prohibit exploitative training reimbursement agreements and prevent workplace violence, to authorize enhanced withdrawals of equity from certain nursing homes, and to dedicate nursing home staffing fines to recruitment and safety grants. The Governor vetoed a bill banning new and expanded for-profit hospice programs.
