Procedure for Obtaining a Copy of the PEPPER Report

The first release of the SNF PEPPER was completed on Aug. 30, 2013.  SNFs administered through short term acute care hospitals received the SNF PEPPER electronically through the FILE Exchange inbox of hospital QualityNet.  Free-standing SNFs and SNFs administered through long term acute care hospitals and inpatient rehabilitation facilities should have received their PEPPER in hard copy format via USPS first-class mail, shipped on Aug. 30.  The envelope was addressed to the CEO/Administrator.  If you did not receive or have misplaced your PEPPER report, you can request a copy directly from the PEPPER Helpdesk following this procedure:

Email the PEPPER Resources Help Desk at  pepper@tmf.org and request to have another copy of the PEPPER Report mailed to you.  Be sure to include your name and title, the name of the facility, mailing address, city, state, zip, and most importantly, the Medicare provider/billing number (six-digit number with the third digit 5 or 6).
