CMS Reduces Timeline for Public Posting of Survey Findings
(June 23, 2025) The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a memorandum last week (QSO-25-19-All) announcing that it will now make survey findings available to the public within 14 days of receipt by the provider. The new policy applies to all CMS-certified providers, suppliers, and labs, including home health agencies and hospice programs. Nursing home statements of deficiencies were already releasable within 14 days of transmission to the facility. More information is available here from LeadingAge National.
