MLTC Contract Submission
The Department of Health (DOH) issued the following reminder to Managed Long Term Care Plans last week:
With the recent updates to the Provider Contract Guidelines for Article 44 MCOs, IPAs, and ACOs, which incorporates Value Based Payment, the Division of Long Term Care would like to remind managed long term care plans of the correct procedure for submitting contracts. All contracts, along with required documentation, must be submitted to MLTCcontract@health.ny.gov.
No contract, including File and Use, is considered to be received by DOH unless it is submitted through the email address above. In addition, incomplete submissions will not be accepted for review, nor will a contract submitted solely to the plan manager. Please refer to Section III of the Provider Contract Guidelines dated April 1, 2017, and emailed to you on March 8, 2017, for further instructions.
