Lunch and Learn Scheduled for Hospice Providers

(July 15, 2025) Hospice and other long-term care providers are invited to attend a Department of Health (DOH) Lunch and Learn webinar on July 31, 2025 from 1-2 p.m. to receive updates from the Director of the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care at the Office of Aging and Long-Term Care (OALTC). Kara Travis, Director, will share the Center's mission and vision, as well as some of the projects they are undertaking to spread awareness about end-of-life care, as well as their partnership with the other directors at OALTC. There will also be an opportunity to share feedback and ask questions.

The Center is focused on increasing utilization of hospice in both the community and long-term care facilities. Members are encouraged to attend and share concerns, barriers to care, suggestions for increased access, and more.
