DOH Schedules Webinar to Assist MLTC Plans with Social Adult Day Program Evaluation and Compliance with HCBS Settings Rule

The New York State Department of Health (DOH) has posted the Suggested Social Adult Day Care (SADC) Site Evaluation Tool and User Guide on the Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) website, which should be utilized and referenced when Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans conduct their annual SADC site evaluations or are conducting the initial evaluation before contracting with a SADC. The suggested tool includes verification of state and federal requirements, including the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Settings Final Rule compliance verification. Providers and plans can learn more about the HCBS Settings Final Rule here.
