Transitional Adult Home Compliance Plan Deadline Extended Again

The Department of Health (DOH) shared that the Transitional Adult Home (TAH) Compliance Plan submission deadline of Mon., Dec. 1, 2014 has been extended. The newly extended Adult Home Compliance Plan submission deadlines will be in accordance with the following schedule:

  • TAHs that did not submit an application in response to the ALP 4500 Conversion Initiative Solicitation of Interest – COB Thurs., Feb. 1, 2015
  • TAHs with existing ALP beds that were awarded ALP beds in response to the ALP 4500 Conversion Initiative Solicitation of Interest – COB Tues., March 31, 2015
  • TAHs with no existing ALP beds that were awarded ALP beds in response to the ALP 4500 Conversion Initiative Solicitation of Interest – COB Tues., June 30, 2015

This requirement applies only to TAHs, which is generally defined as an adult home with a certified capacity of 80 beds or more, in which 25 percent or more of the resident population are persons with serious mental illness.

Compliance Plans should be submitted to the Department via e-mail at transitionalah@health.ny.gov.
