Enriched Housing Subsidy Funding Available

(Sept. 22, 2025) The Department of Health (DOH) has issued the application for the Enriched Housing Operating Assistance Program (also known as the Enriched Housing Subsidy) for State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2025-26. The purpose of the program is to enhance the quality of care provided to individuals receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits by providing additional funding to certified Not-for-Profit (NFP) Enriched Housing Program (EHP) operators to improve service delivery to eligible residents and to assist in meeting residents’ needs.

NFP EHPs that provide services to individuals receiving SSI benefits, have not indicated intent to close during the calendar year, and are compliant with applicable statutes and regulations are eligible. Payments made to eligible EHP operators under this program must be used only for expenditures incurred by providing services to residents in receipt of SSI benefits. Completed applications must be electronically submitted by 5 p.m. on Oct. 2, 2025. Hard copies will not be accepted. No extensions will be granted.

DOH asks that eligible EHP operators who do not wish to be considered for funding complete Section A: “Acceptance/Declination to Participate in Program” and submit their declination of participation through the Health Commerce System (HCS) application.
