DOH to Implement ePOC System Statewide for ACFs

The Electronic Plan of Correction (ePOC) system is being implemented for adult care facilities statewide, according to a Dear Administrator letter (DAL) issued by DOH. The plan is to phase in the process by region. The DAL provides suggestions and resources to prepare for the transition, including a DAL issued in April, which can be accessed here. We thank those LeadingAge New York members that have participated in a pilot of the ePOC to help prepare for this transition. Based on that feedback, and that of our nuring home members who use the system, we anticipate that the system will be easy for facilities to use.
