DOH Provides ACFs Recorded Webinar to Assist with Submission of Applications for Construction or Renovation

The Department of Health (DOH) has provided a recording of an informational webinar, Overview of Application Process for Construction or Renovation Beyond Routine Maintenance, which provides information for adult care facilities (ACFs) about how to comply with the process outlined in Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) #21-22, dated Sept. 29, 2021. This DAL outlined the new process for uploading all Resident Safety Plan submissions to perform construction, repair or renovation of, or addition to any ACF via the New York State Electronic Certificate of Need (NYSECON) application of the Health Commerce System (HCS).

A copy of the PowerPoint used in the above-linked presentation can be accessed here.

While this process was initiated in the fall and is no longer new, these resources can assist you in complying with the process.
