Deadline Extended for Transitional Adult Home Compliance Plans

The Department of Health (DOH) extended the deadline for transitional adult homes to submit compliance plans from March 21, 2014 to April 21, 2014. Any questions and compliance plans should be submitted to: transitionalah@health.state.ny.us.

DOH also indicated that they will issue the long-awaited frequently asked questions regarding the opportunity for transitional adult homes to apply for Assisted Living Program (ALP) beds. DOH will then re-open that Opportunity For Development (OFD), and extend the deadline. We anticipate a more general OFD for ALP beds, possibly in the fall.
