ALR Aide Curriculum

            ABSTRACT:  DOH provides recommended curriculum for training ALR aides.

A recommended curriculum for the training of resident care aides in assisted living residences (ALRs) has just been issued by DOH.  As members will recall, NYAHSA had the opportunity to review the draft curriculum and provide input.  This curriculum should serve as a guide for your training programs.  You do not need to submit your training programs for approval; rather DOH will review your training programs upon survey.

The Dear Administrator letter and curriculum are posted on the Health Commerce System, and are attached to this memo for your convenience.
