DOH Issues Two UAS Directives for Users

The Department of Health (DOH) recently issued two notifications to providers using the Uniform Assessment System (UAS). The policy document Organization and Individual Responsibilities Associated with Using the UAS-NY cautions against certain inappropriate actions in the UAS that could result in suspension of accounts or other actions. The second notice, REMINDER: Discontinuance of UAS-NY LTC-30 & LTC-35 Roles, provides information about the various roles and requests that Health Commerce System (HCS) Coordinators take certain actions regarding UAS roles by Aug. 1st. Questions about these directives can be directed to DOH by phone at 518-408-1021 or email to uasny@health.ny.gov. Please provide your HCS User ID when calling or emailing.
