LeadingAge NY Submits Written Testimony to Several Assembly Standing Committees
LeadingAge NY submitted written testimony for two recently held Assembly Standing Committee Public Hearings. First, on Nov. 17th, the Assembly Standing Committees on Health, Labor, and Higher Education held a hearing to examine how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the delivery of health care and its impact on the health care workforce. LeadingAge NY's written testimony for this hearing, which highlights the unprecedented long term care workforce challenges across the continuum of care and ways that the State can begin to address these issues, is available here.
On Nov. 22nd, the Assembly Standing Committee on Aging held a hearing on the impact of COVID-19 on programs and support services for older adults and their caregivers within the state. LeadingAge NY's written testimony for this hearing is available here.
