Capital Attestations Due Friday
We remind nursing home members that the Department of Health (DOH) requests that all homes review their 2021 Medicaid capital component calculation by Nov. 13th. Each home must submit a signed attestation either requesting a correction or indicating that no correction is needed. Homes requesting a correction need to submit supporting documentation, including Attestation Attachment 1, indicating the type of correction being requested. A separate Attachment 1 form must be submitted for each correction requested. That form is available for download here. The associated Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) is available here, and the attestation form is here.
To access the rates, navigate to the Healthcare Financial Data Gateway section of the Health Commerce System (HCS) and select Collection “NH Rate Sheets 4/2009-Forward” and Package “2021 Capital Preview Rates.”
Attestations should be submitted by email to nfrates@health.ny.gov with “2021 Capital Preview Attestation” in the subject line.
