Jewish Home Launches Elder Abuse Prevention Initiative in Partnership with Lifespan

Jewish Home's Project Kesher Program Honored with Elmer Louis Award

Jewish Home was recently honored with an Elmer Louis Award by the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester at their combined annual meeting held at the Louis S. Wolk JCC of Rochester. The Elmer Louis Award recognizes outstanding programming in the Rochester Jewish community, and Jewish Home’s Project Kesher program was one of two recipients.

The community’s Virtual Reality Immersion Room received LeadingAge New York’s Innovation of the Year Award, which recognizes programs for their groundbreaking creativity, vision, success, and ability to replicate; Qais Qaderi, dining room supervisor at The Summit at Brighton, was selected as a 2024 LeadingAge New York Employee of Distinction for the Rochester region; and Chris Zoellick, chief technology officer, received his certificate of completion for LeadingAge New York’s IGNITE Leadership Academy.
