The first webinar in LeadingAge NY and Corning Place Communications’ four-part series on "Amplifying Your Voice and Building Your Business Through Social Media" will be held tomorrow, Wed., Jan. 10th, from 12 to 12:30 pm. Click here to register.
The free session, titled "Adding New Tools to Your Advocacy & Marketing Toolbox: An Introduction to Twitter and Facebook," will cover:
- A comprehensive overview of Twitter and Facebook that includes functionality, features, and standard practices;
- What makes these platforms effective advocacy and marketing tools; and
- Sample tweets and posts (from LeadingAge NY and Young at Heart).
Participants are reminded to create social media accounts for their respective organizations prior to the session. Links to step-by-step instructions for creating Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as details on how to join the webinar, will appear in the registration confirmation email.
