Nursing Homes and ACFs: 15 Minutes of Your Time, Please
The Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS) is an academic research center based at the School of Public Health at the University at Albany. The Center provides timely, accurate information and conducts policy-relevant research about the health workforce.
Workforce has been a critical topic for long term care providers for years, but the pandemic has added new challenges and dimensions. Policymakers need accurate, representative data to address workforce issues, and CHWS is the key source of such data. However, the Center relies on partnerships with the provider community to collect critical information. There is still time to do yet another good deed and participate in the Center's Nursing Home and Adult Care Facility (ACF) Staff Recruitment and Retention Survey. While we understand the frustrations of the never-ending surveys that members currently face, if you are willing to share 15 minutes of your time to assist in this effort, CHWS and all stakeholders who rely on the intelligence their reports provide would be grateful.
