DOH Shares Updated ARPA Spending Guidance for ADHC Programs

(April 22, 2025) Adult day health care (ADHC) programs that have received American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds should note the following communication sent to programs today, April 22nd:​​​​​​​

For your reference, we have updated our ARPA guidance on the New York State Department of Health website at: American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)-Supplemental Guidance For Adult Day Health Care And Aids Adult Day Health Care Programs (ADHCs AND AADHCs). This guidance outlines pertinent information regarding contact updates, quarterly reporting, required documentation and spending.

Please note that all funds must be expended by July 31st, 2025, unless you received an approved extension. Extension requests were due by February 1st, 2025 and no new extensions requests will be granted. Please plan accordingly to spend all funding by July 31st, 2025.

Programs should carefully review the new posted link, including the revised reporting deadlines, and changes clarifying required spending documentation. Assisted Living Programs (ALPs) received a similar communication.
