DOH to Begin HCBS Settings Rule On-Site Surveys of Adult Day Health Care Programs

On July 19th, the Department of Health (DOH) posted a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) announcing that on-site surveys assessing Home and Community-based Services (HCBS) Settings Rule compliance for ADHC providers will begin next week. Ten ADHC providers were selected for the initial round of surveys. These providers have all been notified by ADHCC of their upcoming survey.

Members can click here to learn more about the heightened scrutiny process and what we know thus far about the upcoming survey. All ADHC providers will eventually be surveyed using the survey tool.

ADHCC is offering an audioconference on Tues., July 25th for ADHC providers to prepare for the survey process. The call will be recorded and posted on the ADHCC website later in the week. ADHCC will inform members of DOH’s progress as the survey process is carried out.
