Former ADHCC Leader Passes

(Dec. 2, 2025) Christine Fitzpatrick, executive director of the Adult Day Health Care Council (ADHCC) from 1998 to 2015, passed away last week. Members and staff of LeadingAge NY and ADHCC knew her as a tireless and fierce advocate for adult day health care (ADHC). She was unapologetic in fighting on behalf of programs before the State. She inspired confidence and leadership in ADHC program directors and staff. And she did all this with great wit and intellect. Christine had an enormous impact on ADHC programs across the state, and we are so grateful for her knowledge, expertise, and support.

Christine excelled in a number of very diverse jobs and leadership positions throughout her life and loved and supported her community of Ballston Spa, just south of Saratoga, in many ways, including serving as its mayor. Her obituary can be found here. Please join us in sending condolences.
