Cash Receipts Assessment Reconciliation Appeal Date

Several members have noted errors in the calculation reconciling their 2013 cash receipts assessment payments.  Homes have 30 days from the date of the accompanying Dear Adminstrator Letter (DAL), available by clicking here, to submit an appeal. Although the date on the DAL is illegible and the e-mail from DOH announcing that the posting of the calculation sheets was sent on Sep.11th, DOH has informed some providers that the DAL date is Sep. 8th.  

In light of this, we recommend that any member who needs to appeal the reconciliation calculation do so before Oct.  8th.  

Appeals must be submitted using the state's Electronic Appeals Submission System on the Health Commerce System.
