2015 Nursing Home Capital

Members are reminded that the Department of Health (DOH) is offering an expanded opportunity for homes to review and correct their 2015 capital component. Preliminary rates were posted to the Health Commerce System in early September for homes that filed RHCF-4 Medicaid cost reports by the August due date. DOH intends to incorporate correction requests received by Oct. 3 into capital notice rates issued in November. Once the notice rates are issued, homes will have until Dec. 1 to notify DOH of any additional capital rate corrections that may be needed. Correction requests should be sent to BVAPR@health.ny.gov by Oct. 3 to be included in November notice rates. Capital rate sheets for homes that file RHCF-2 cost reports will not be available until November.
