Modifications to Ombudsman Regulations Formally Adopted

The Department of Health (DOH) formally adopted regulations regarding allowing access by certified long-term care ombudsmen to long-term care facilities and resident records maintained by such facilities upon informed or written consent. The regulations were adopted as proposed, unchanged. Click here for more background on the changes, which apply to nursing homes and adult care facilities (ACFs).
