First Impressions Matter!

A Workshop on Landscaping and “Curb Appeal” in Senior Living Communities

Potential residents and their families considering moving to a senior living community start making judgements before they walk through the front door. It's critical that senior living communities make a great first impression, and that means creative, attractive landscaping and exterior features. Designing for elders can be complicated and costly. How do senior housing, assisted living, retirement homes and continuing care retirement communities find that balance between accessibility, functionality, attractiveness and cost?

LeadingAge NY’s Retirement Housing Cabinet is hosting a workshop on landscaping and curb appeal to discuss these issues at length, with practitioners who have created attractive exteriors that work!
