LeadingAge NY, Together with Other Stakeholders, Urges Inclusion of ACF/AL Priorities in Final Budget
LeadingAge NY, together with other adult care facility and assisted living associations, circulated this joint statement to the Legislature on April 1st urging them to ensure that our priorities are reflected in the final budget. The budget is now officially late, and it is unclear when it will be done, but it is critical that your representatives know what is important to you in these final days. If you have not already, you can use this digital letter to urge the support of your representatives. Please note that this link can be shared with others, and you can edit the letter to personalize it and focus on what is most important to your organization. You can also use this tool to look up your representatives' contact information to place phone calls. Even if you weighed in early in the process with your representatives, it makes sense to reach out again as decisions are being made in these final days of the process.
