Olmstead Implementation Plan Outlines Aggressive Goals

New York State has developed a comprehensive Olmstead Implementation Plan that will address integrated housing, transportation, community services and other important services, to ensure that individuals with disabilities receive services in the most integrated setting appropriate to their needs.  The plan provides insight into system changes which are likely to have an impact on how members provide services, what options will be available to seniors and people with disabilities, and what new service opportunities exist for members.  Click here to view a summary developed by LeadingAge New York of the issues and policy directions that are most pertinent to our members.
