Local Legislative Advocacy Campaign
If you are not able to join us for our Adult Care Facility/Assisted Living Advocacy Day on May 10th, you can still be an advocate. Schedule local meetings with your representatives, who have dedicated time in their home offices. In order to be successful in our priorities, legislators from across the state must hear about our concerns. Our Advocacy Action Plan can help you develop a plan. You can give your representative our Issue Brief; if they have any questions you cannot answer, please let us know and we will be happy to follow up. Our contact information is also at the bottom of the form, should the legislator want to talk with us further. While the Issue Brief is a guide, it is most important that you explain why the issues are important to your organization and your community.
