LeadingAge NY has kicked off the 2013 nursing home salary survey.  Members who participate will get a free copy of the resulting report.  The survey form, which opens as an Excel file, is attached.

With deadlines fast approaching, interested parties should start the process now.

DOH has indicated that they hope to announce a decision on rate updates this week.

DOH has issued three Dear Administrator Letters (DAL): 2010 LHCSA Statistical Report; 2010 CHHA/LTHHCP Statistical Report; and 2010 Hospice Cost and Utilization Report.

DOH is hosting important webinars on the new Nursing Home Quality Pool.  Providers are urged to register ASAP.

State finalizes regulations on executive compensation and administrative costs. 

On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, the NYS Department of Health conducted a one-hour webinar on the UAS-NY to provide additional information concerning its statewide implementation.  LeadingAge NY submitted a number of questions and concerns to DOH as part of our ongoing effort to advocate for and support our members as they transition to the UAS-NY.  DOH addressed some of the issues we raised, but many questions remain unanswered.
