DOH to Implement Electronic Statement of Deficiencies

Starting with surveys that conclude in August 2013, nursing homes will submit plans of correction electronically through the Health Commerce System (HCS).  DOH will be providing training for all facilities in July on the features of the electronic submission system.  The system is similar to the system used in Pennsylvania over the last few years. At a future point in time, it is anticipated that the electronic plan of correction will be posted to the DOH site along with the statement of deficiencies.
