RFA on Dementia Care

The intent of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to support a national initiative of the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that aims to: (1) Improve the quality of nursing home care for residents with dementia, and (2) Reduce off-label use of antipsychotic medications for this population. The Department of Health will support the initiative by providing nursing homes with small grants to implement one or more Electronic Dementia Guide to Excellence (EDGE) and/or Dementia Grants Program interventions.
