Livanta, LLC Update

We are now several months into the transition to Livanta, LLC as the Medicare case review contractor for expedited reviews/generic notices, officially referred to as Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO). The most recent Livanta bulletin contains some important notices on provider resources, including:

• the ability to check on case status by simply using the Arrow functionality. The system provides a snapshot of the current status of cases. Access Arrow at: www.BFCCQIOArea1.com/checkyourcase.html; and
• a Frequently Asked Questions document at: www.BFCCQIOArea1.com/provider.html.

Livanta is also reminding providers who have not already done so, to complete the mandated memorandum of understanding. For member convenience, the most recent Livanta bulletin is available on our website.
