LeadingAge NY Comments to CMS on Proposed Sprinkler Waiver

LeadingAge NY has sent a letter in support of the proposed CMS sprinkler waiver.  The comments, based on member input, were in response to a proposal to allow waivers of the Aug. 13, 2013 requirement to fully sprinkler nursing homes.  The waivers would be limited to facilities that were either being totally replaced or where there was significant renovation that was to be performed.  The waivers would be given for a period of not longer than two years. Click here to view the letter.
