DOH to Provide Ebola Update

Dr. Debra Blog of the Department of Health (DOH) Division of Epidemiology, along with representatives from the DOH Division of Residential Care, will conduct an informational session on Ebola for LeadingAge NY and other state associations on Weds., Oct. 29.  The call is intended to outline the expectations for nursing homes in response to Ebola.  DOH has issued considerable guidance primarily directed to hospitals, diagnostic and treatment centers and EMS personnel.  This will be an opportunity to clarify what nursing homes should be doing at this time.  We will of course advise members of any information provided by DOH.
