Managed Care Mandatory Rate Review
The Department of Health (DOH) held a state fiscal year 2014-15 managed care plan mandatory rate review teleconference on Oct. 22, 2014. For member convenience, LeadingAge NY has posted the materials from this session on our website as follows:
The slide presentations by DOH and Mercer are very detailed and the teleconference generated some serious concerns on the part of the plans, mostly concerning the rationale and assumptions underlying reductions in the rates. LeadingAge NY and our PACE/MLTC Cabinet continue to work towards resolving these concerns with the rates.
