Senior Supportive Housing Services Program Conference Call Scheduled

LeadingAge New York will conduct a free conference call for members on the Senior Supportive Housing Services Program’s Request for Applications (RFA) on Weds., April 2, 2014, from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Click here for information that includes the call-in information and the Power Point slides that will be covered during the call.  (Members will be prompted to log in.  If you forget your log-in information, click the “Get password help” link.)

Background:

The Department of Health recently issued the Senior Supportive Housing Services RFA, an exciting grant opportunity for not-for-profit providers of affordable senior housing.  This RFA will enable the State to determine if investments in affordable housing for services and capital improvements will save Medicaid dollars.  LeadingAge NY members are well-positioned to demonstrate the effectiveness of these interventions, and we encourage members to consider applying for these funds.

To support members in evaluating the RFA, LeadingAge NY will hold this audio conference to provide guidance on aspects of the RFA, including important vendor registration requirements. There will be time for questions and answers.

Applications are due by Thurs., May 15, 2014 by 4 p.m., and can be viewed here. Letters of interest and questions regarding the RFA are due by Fri., April 4, 2014.

Speakers include: Diane Darbyshire, senior policy analyst; Ken Harris, senior policy analyst;  Linda Spokane, vice president of research and analytics.  All are with LeadingAge NY.

Registration is not required, but this call is for LeadingAge NY members only.

This session will be recorded. The recording will be posted to the handout website (link above) 24 hours after the live session to allow members to listen online at their convenience.
