Managed Care Benefit and Population Expansion Timeline

The Department of Health (DOH) posted a revised MRT 1458 timeline for rolling out several benefits effective Fri., March 13, 2015. MRT 1458 is commonly known as "Care Management Population and Benefit Expansion, Access to Services and Consumer Rights." According to the revised timeline, the Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Medicaid waiver that was scheduled to be rolled into managed care in September 2015, has been pushed out until January 2016. The Traumatic Brain Injury waiver has been pushed out until April 2016, this to was scheduled for September 2015. The assisted living program population has also been pushed back to Jan. 1, 2016.
