The MedPAC 2015 Data Book

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, which provides Congress with analysis and policy advice on the Medicare program, has released its MedPAC Data Book.  This publication presents information and analysis on national health care and Medicare spending, including statistics on Medicare beneficiary demographics, the status of dual-eligible beneficiaries, quality of care in the Medicare program, and third party payer liability.  It also examines specific provider settings such as:

• Section Eight, page 111 – Post-Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health Services, and Other Post-Acute Care Settings;
• Section Nine, page 133 – Medicare Advantage; and
• Section Eleven, page 190 – Hospice.
