Governor Issues Executive Order for Winter Storm
As a result of the snowstorm in Western New York, the State has taken action to ensure all patients or residents receive their medications and care during this emergency situation. Gov. Cuomo issued Executive Order #139, temporarily suspending applicable or pertinent regulatory measures. It is in effect until Mon., Dec. 1, 2014, and applies to facilities located in the counties of Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Franklin, Genesee, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, Wyoming and contiguous counties.
