The Business Case for Palliative Care: Free Webinar, July 17, 2014, 3 - 4 p.m.

As specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses, palliative care is increasingly recognized as an effective way to provide the “right care at the right place at the right time.” Demonstrating a business case for palliative care is important for defining the care model, outcomes, and methods to increase patient/family satisfaction and to reduce hospital readmissions and unnecessary emergency department visits. In this webinar, participants will learn about the clinical, operational and financial components of the “business case” for palliative care, and hear about successful models and plans.
