Comments on HCBS Settings Rule Transition Plan Due Sept. 9th
Members are reminded that comments on the State’s Transition Plan (STP) for the federal home and community based settings (HCBS) rule are due by close of business on Friday, Sept. 9th. Any comments should be emailed to HCBSrule@health.ny.gov. The STP reflects New York’s process for coming into compliance with the federal HCBS rule by March of 2019. The plan can be found here. Members are encouraged to consider providing comments; please share any thoughts you would like LeadingAge NY to incorporate.

LeadingAge NY will be submitting comments on behalf of our members, but we encourage members who have concerns or suggestions about the implementation of the rule to provide comment.
