MDS Auditing and Consulting Services

• Audit MDS for accuracy and compliance
• Review MDS process, including policies and procedures
• Audit for coding integrity
• Review Interdisciplinary documentation
• Assist with systems for record keeping and scheduling
• Review process for NYS and CMS submissions
• Provide education to MDS Coordinator and other appropriate staff regarding Medicare Maximization
• Meet with MDS team and individual disciplines as needed to discuss any identified documentation, communication or completion issues.
• Review of coding by direct care staff for late loss ADLs with education provided as needed.
